Hello! My name is Harry, and I am a student therapist at Friends University, here is a little bit about me:
I was born in the UK and shortly after, moved to the US. Growing up traversing these two countries played a significant role in shaping my love for diverse cultures and people. Having familial ties between these two countries provided me with a unique perspective on life and a deep appreciation for different ways of living.
I am a dedicated student therapist who places a strong emphasis on authenticity, and client-centered care. With a focus on creating a safe and supportive space for my clients. I prioritize meeting individuals, couples and families where they are at emotionally and ensuring their comfort and autonomy are respected.
By honoring clients' boundaries whilst also encouraging exploration of challenging topics, I demonstrate a commitment to fostering trust and understanding within the therapeutic relationship. Through collaborative efforts with clients, I seek to make difficult conversations more manageable, empowering individuals to take control of their therapeutic journey while still addressing important issues for personal growth.
With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I embody a genuine desire to help my clients navigate their thoughts, emotions and relationships in a way that feels comfortable and beneficial for their well-being. Overall, my practice is rooted in authenticity, adaptability, and collaboration, making my client(s) a valuable partner in the journey towards self-discovery and healing.
Outside of the therapy room, my passions include traveling, reading, and cooking. These activities not only offer relaxation and inspiration but also serve as avenues for personal growth and self-expression. Additionally, I hold a personal training certification and enjoy working with individuals to improve the physical aspects of the human body. This dual interest in mental health and physical well-being allows me to approach my work holistically, recognizing the interconnectedness of mind and body in promoting overall wellness.
My session fee is $40 per hour. Because I'm a student therapist, I'm unable to offer superbills for out-of-network billing.
